About Miniature Schnauzers

When you decide to get a puppy, don’t take the decision lightly. Give it a lot of thought. The puppy will be a member of your family and they deserve your time and devotion. If, after deep thought, you find yourself ready to take the plunge into dog ownership–a miniature schnauzer is an excellent choice. The breed standards for the miniature schnauzer are 12″-14″ tall and weighing between 11 and 18 pounds. They should have a stocky build, and because of their friendly, alert, and willing to please attitude they make great family pets. The most recognized colors are salt and pepper, black, and black and silver and a great selling point that people love is that they don’t shed.

Reserving a Puppy

I would like to remind people that I do not do any early sales of puppies…..and a phone interview is required to be considered (this does not guarantee you a puppy).  Pictures are posted between 5 and 6 weeks of age on the Available Puppies page.  Then, if we have had a phone interview ..send me an e-mail (NO PHONE CALLS!) and let me know the puppy you are interested in,  by the color of the collar it is wearing.    …Don’t assume you have your ‘chosen’ puppy till I put Pending to and your name by the puppy…then you will have a week to send a deposit of $100, at that time I will put SOLD to.  The balance is due when you pick the puppy up.  The total price of my puppies is $1600.   I do update pictures, so you can watch them grow!  They will be ready to go to their forever homes between 8 and 10 weeks of age.

The puppies are sold with a Limited AKC Registrations, shots and worming will be current.  They will be groomed and Vet checked as well.

The deposit is non-refundable, unless something tragic would happen to your chosen puppy, then you can choose to either have your deposit returned, or you may have your pick of available puppies or one from an upcoming litter.  I do reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone.

Health Guarantee

If you wish to take your puppy to the vet, you need to do so within 3 business days after their arrival at its new home. If your vet feels the puppy is not healthy, he will need to write a letter describing the problem encountered and return the puppy for a different puppy or a refund. This guarantee is only in effect for three days, as we have no control over his/her new environment. Worms and parasites are NOT covered under this guarantee, as they are a normal condition in young puppies. Any procedure or surgery is the sole responsibility of the owner, NOT MiniMac Kennel.
